Our summer 2010 brochure features ideas for all kinds of holidays in Scandinavia. Winter Wonders 2010-2011
Our Winter 2010/11 brochure should be available by mid-July, and we are currently in the process of updating the website to show 2010/11 details and prices. As ever, our brochure offers many ways to experience the pristine beauty of the Arctic Winter, and all our destinations offer excellent chances of seeing the Northern Lights, if weather conditions are right. For 2010/11 we have added more pre-bookable excursions and activities including several new excursions in search of Northern Lights. Land of the Northern Lights
If you saw the wonderful BBC TV programme 'Joanna Lumley in the Land of the Northern Lights' you cannot fail to have been amazed at what she saw! The lovely city of Tromso is where she found them, and Tromso features in a number of our itineraries. A 3-night City Break is available at £810 p.p., and we can even book you a tour with Joanna Lumley's guide! You can also combine Tromso with a scenic voyage to the beautiful Lofoten Islands, with a Hurtigruten cruise to Kirkenes on the the Russian border, or with a stunning rail journey through the Arctic wilderness to Sweden's famous Ice Hotel!
Alternatively, you can opt for our best-selling 7-night 'Land of the Northern Lights' tour that we introduced last season. This tour takes a similar route to Joanna Lumley's, with a train journey across the Arctic Circle and a couple of nights in the magical Lofoten Islands before reaching Tromso for the last two nights. The tour offers excellent value at £1,450 p.p.

The Ice Hotel
Like all good ideas it has been copied, but Sweden's Ice Hotel remains in a class of its own! We offer a variety of short breaks to the Ice Hotel with the option of including a stopover in the lovely city of Stockholm. The Ice Hotel is also featured in a number of longer itineraries - which provide better value for money, and of course more chances of seeing the Northern Lights. Tromso and the Ice Hotel has proved a popular combination - linked with a spectacular rail journey through the Arctic wilderness.

Nordic Winter Spectacular Tour
For 2010-11 we have introduced a new 10-night 'Nordic Winter Spectacular' tour in response to increasing demand for longer holidays. This tour combines Stockholm, the Ice Hotel, and Tromso with two scenic rail journeys and a three night Hurtigruten cruise southwards from Tromso, through the magical Lofoten Islands to Trondheim. Like all our holidays this ia a flexible independent tour that can be tailor-made as you wish.
