Winter Wonders 2009-10
Our Winter 2009/10 brochure offers many ways to experience the Arctic winter, with exciting activities, and hopefully the chance to see the amazing Northern Lights. Land of the Northern Lights
If you saw the wonderful BBC TV programme 'Joanna Lumley in the Land of the Northern Lights' you cannot fail to have been amazed at what she saw! The lovely city of Tromso is where she found them, and Tromso features in a number of our itineraries. A 3-night City Break is available at £775 p.p., and we can even book you a tour with Joanna Lumley's guide! You can also combine Tromso with a scenic voyage to the beautiful Lofoten Islands, or with a stunning rail journey through the Arctic wilderness to Sweden's famous Ice Hotel!
Alternativly, we have a new 7-night 'Land of the Northern Lights' tour taking a similar route to Joanna Lumley's, with a train journey across the Arctic Circla and a couple of nights in the Lofoten Islands before reaching Tromso. The tour offers excellent value at £1,325 p.p.

The Ice Hotel
We have managed to hold all our Ice Hotel prices at last year's levels, and some have even been reduced. Options include 2 and 3-night breaks, as well as the possibility of starting the holiday in the lovely city of Stockholm, or starting in Narvik in Norway, and taking a stunning rail journey across the Arctic Wilderness into Sweden and to the Ice Hotel. This train journey is also a highlight in a brand-new tour combining Tromso and the Ice Hotel.
