Ice Hotel, Sweden
Like all good ideas it has been copied, but Sweden's Ice Hotel remains in a class of its own! Our packages all include a night in the Ice Hotel, and a night or two in a warm hotel room or cosy cabin within the complex. A complete range of activities is available including snowmobile and husky safaris, Sami culture/reindeer driving, snowshoe trekking, and Ice driving. Leaving Heathrow at 07.00 and changing in Stockholm you can be at the Ice Hotel in time for lunch. Alternatively you can start the holiday with a night (or two) in Stockholm before flying north to Kiruna.
The Ice Hotel can also be combined with Tromso in a two-centre holiday linked by a scenic rail journey across the Arctic wilderness on the Ofoten Railway.

Kiruna Breaks
A new option for a winter break is Camp Ripan, on the edge of Kiruna in Sweden. Camp Ripan offers high-quality cabin-style accommodation, an excellent restaurant and a superb range of excursions and activities. The most popular of these will doubtless be the Northern Lights trip to the Aurora Sky Station at Abisko. A night at the Ice Hotel can be added if you wish, or you might opt to spend a night in an igloo at Camp Ripan and just pay a visit (by minibus or snowmobile) to enjoy the amazing sculptures at the Ice Hotel. Special Christmas and New Year packages are available at Camp Ripan, but early booking is most definitely recommended.
Camp Ripan can be combined with any of our Norway tours via the scenic Ofoten Railway.
