Ice Hotels and Winter Activities

Ice Hotel, Sweden
The world’s largest igloo, Sweden’s famous Ice Hotel is rebuilt annually throughout December and offers the ultimate winter break. Our packages all include a night in the Ice Hotel, and a night or two in a warm hotel room or cosy cabin within the complex. A complete range of activities is available including snowmobile and husky safaris, reindeer driving, snowshoe trekking, moose safaris and Ice driving. Leaving Heathrow at 07.00 and changing in Stockholm you can be at the Ice Hotel in time for lunch. Alternatively you can start the holiday with a night (or two) in Stockholm before flying north to Kiruna, or with a night in Narvik in north Norway, then travelling into Sweden on the scenic Ofoten Railway. Killer whale safaris can also be combined with the Ice Hotel in December and early January.

Kirkenes Snow Hotel
Due to open on 07 January 2009 the Kirkenes Snow Hotel with feature a Snow Bar, Chapel and 20 beatifully-decorated Snow Suites. A service building is located nearby with sauna/showers/toilets, and there is a cosy restaurant offering delicious food coooked over an open fire. The Snow Hotel is stuated in the Gabba Reindeer Park close to the Rica Hotel, Kirkenes. A night in the Snow Hotel, or just a visit, can be included on any of our Kirkenes holidays, or packages can be tailor-made to suit your exact requirements.
