Northern Lights Holidays
The quest for Northern Lights is generally the primary reason for choosing a holiday in the far North, and all our destinations offer excellent chances of seeing them if weather conditions are right. Tromso is a beautiful city, and justly popular for a Northern Lights break. Most people add an extra night or two as there is so much to see and do. Tromsų Breaks
Tromso is a lively city located around 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle, with superb restaurants, museums and stunning Arctic Cathedral. Winter city breaks offer excellent chances of seeing the Northern Lights, with a wide range of excursions and activities available.

Land of the Northern Lights Tour
Our 7-night 'Land of the Northern Lights' tour follows a similar route to that taken by Joanna Lumley in the amazing BBC TV programme. The tour starts with a scenic rail journey across the Arctic Circle, includes a couple of nights in the beautiful Lofoten Islands, and finishes in Tromso - where Joanna Lumley found the Northern Lights. We can even arrange a Northern Lights tour with the same guide! This holiday offers an unforgettable winter experience,and great value at £1,450 p.p.

Nordic Winter Spectacular Tour
For 2010-11 we have introduced a new 10-night 'Nordic Winter Spectacular' tour in response to increasing demand for longer holidays. This tour combines Stockholm, the Ice Hotel, and Tromso with two scenic rail journeys and a three night Hurtigruten cruise southwards from Tromso, through the magical Lofoten Islands to Trondheim. The tour offers good chances of seeing the Northern Lights from the Ice Hotel, Tromso and from the coastal voyage on Hurtigruten - plus the opportunity to enjoy a spectacular array of winter landscapes, and several lovely cities. Like all our holidays this ia a flexible independent tour that can be tailor-made as you wish.

Arctic Norway Experience
For a real Arctic experience this new tour starts with two nights in Tromso before joining the northbound Hurtigruten for the two-night voyage to Kirkenes. En route we have included an excursion to the North Cape, and during your two-night stay you have the option of a number of unique excursions including a King Crab Safari or a Husky Safari along the Russian border. You can even opt to spend your last night in the Kirkenes Snow Hotel. This is a very flexible independent tour and extra nights can be added as you wish.
